Welcome to Nelson No. 700 Masonic Lodge
Established in 1857, the Nelson No. 700 Masonic Lodge stands as a tribute to Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson, one of England’s most revered naval heroes. For over a century, our Lodge has been a beacon of tradition, fraternity, and enlightenment.
Nestled within the rich tapestry of Freemasonry, we are part of an illustrious history that traces back to the medieval stonemasons, the very artisans who crafted our great cathedrals and castles. Just as they used grips, words, and signs to distinguish their craftsmanship, we, as Freemasons, use these symbols to signify our commitment to personal growth and community service.
Meetings
Nelson No. 700 convenes four times a year in Central London, with charitable collections made at dinner. The Tyler’s Toast generally concludes before 10pm.
For dining arrangements, please inform the Secretary by the Friday prior to the meeting. Payment can be made via Stripe.com link or bank transfer as per instructions in the summons.
